I am sure the layman would consider a T.V. lamp “tacky”. To the lovers of vintage treasures, the T.V. lamp is a prized possession. There are so many different types of T.V. lamps. A ceramic black-panther, mallard duck, and my beauty- the seashell flamingo lamp, are just a few examples.

Besides a memory of times past, these lamps give a subtle glow to a room. I love to turn mine on during a snowy, winter evening. It makes my home cozy.

Yes, there are some people who enter my house who lack appreciation for my T.V. lamp (and other vintage treasures). It doesn’t bother me. I wouldn’t change a thing.
