I have never been a fan of Easter décor. I am not sure why I am not a fan. It may be the pastel colors, the overuse of bunnies, or the memory of horrible Easter candy from my childhood.

Do you remember the Easter candy from years past? It was before the Mars and Hershey companies had figured out they could capitalize on the holiday. My Easter basket would be filled with waxy jelly beans, chocolate-flavored waxy bunnies, and those horrible, hard-shelled, marshmallow-like, large, pastel eggs. I hated them but felt the need to eat them anyway.

Just recently I have acquired a few Easter decorations that I can tolerate in my home. Of course they are vintage. Thank goodness for tacky vintage items. They have renewed my faith in Easter décor.
