garbage inside a room

When we returned from out second weekend in a row of dance competitions, I did not have the energy to do anything related to physical work. I unloaded the car and the suitcases and bags stayed packed. I just could not face the unpacking process.

Today when I came home from school and walked in the door, I was overwhelmed by the chaos in my house. You could barely navigate a path between all of the luggage. It was time to buckle down and unpack. Outer order, inner calm. I needed inner calm.

I can’t say that I have completely unpacked and straightened my house. There is only so much time in the evening and cooking dinner needs to happen too. I did make a large dent in the luggage mountain so you can walk through the house without risk of injury. The house battle continues tomorrow…
