One of my teacher friends posted the most hilarious picture on her fb page this past fall. She had picked a large zucchini from her garden and had decided to make it her classroom pet. She touted the benefits of such a low-maintenance pet!
He didn’t need to be fed. He didn’t have a cage that needed to be cleaned. He didn’t bite, bark, or shed.
There is an expiration date on such a low-maintenance pet. After a few weeks, her pet took on an unusual odor and started to appear to change color…
A gourd will last a really long time and they come in all kind of unusual shapes! Good post!
