“Ms. Richardson, OMG! I am bleeding! I don’t know what happened. Can you see it right there?”
A student rushes over to my desk delicately holding her hand, alarm in her eyes. I can really see the injury that has my student so escalated.
“You are probably going to live.”
“What? That is not very nice to say. You don’t care that I cut myself? Oh wait, it’s chocolate…”
Sigh…
